Some people come every week. Some come once a month. Both are welcome. Choose what works for you.
Most activities cost $2 to $5 per session. Some are free. Cost should never stop you from coming.

Join Chatty Cafe for a cup of tea and conversation. Read books with the Book Group. Meet women from different countries at Multicultural Women’s Social Group. Do jigsaw puzzles together. Connect with people over 50 at Cafe Fridays.

Hobbies & Recreation
Learn to make things. Use tools. Create with your hands.
Join Women’s Shed to learn carpentry and home repairs. Join Men’s Shed to work with wood and tools while making friends. Learn sewing, knitting and other fabric crafts. Play music with others.
You never had a chance to learn these skills before. This is your chance. No experience needed. We teach you from the beginning.
Fitness & Health
Move your body. Build strength. Feel confident.
Try gentle fitness for people over 50. Learn tai chi. Drum with other women. Practice yoga. Try martial arts like karate or taekwondo.
All abilities welcome. Move at your speed. Rest when you need to. Our instructors understand that every body is different.
Gyms feel intimidating. We don’t. Come as you are.
Kids & Parents
Your children belong. You belong.
Bring your children aged 0 to 5 years to Multicultural Playgroup on Wednesday mornings. They play and learn. You meet other parents. We understand developmental needs. We welcome all children.
Bring a piece of fruit to share. That’s our tradition.
You feel isolated as a parent. You’re not alone. Come find parents like you.

Thursday 10am is the easiest time. That’s when Chatty Cafe happens. Just walk in. Get a cup of tea. Sit down. Meet people. Ask questions about other programs.

Do I need to book?
Most programs don’t need booking. Just come. Some programs have limited spaces and need booking. We tell you which ones.
What if I'm not sure which program suits me?
Call us. We’ll talk about what you want. We’ll help you choose. You can also try Chatty Cafe first and ask questions there.
What if I don't speak English well?
Many people in our programs speak different languages. We help each other understand. We also teach English classes.
What if I can't afford it?
Talk to us. We want cost to never stop you from coming.

Can I bring my children?
We have free childcare for children aged 0 to 5 years if you’re in Adult Community Education classes. We have Multicultural Playgroup for young children and their parents. Ask us about your specific situation.
