Chatty Cafe
First Tuesday of the month, 1pm to 3pm
Drop in for a cup of tea and conversation. Meet friendly people. Talk or just listen. Stay for 10 minutes or stay for 3 hours. You choose.
This is our easiest first step. Just walk in.

Book Group
First Saturday of the month, 10am to 12pm
Read books and talk about them with other readers. Share ideas. Make friends who love books. We choose books together.
Limited spaces. Call to book your spot.

Jigsaw Puzzle Group
Fourth Saturday of the month, 10am to 12pm
Do jigsaw puzzles with other people who enjoy puzzles. Work together. Chat while you build. Relax and connect.

Multicultural Women's Social Group
Tuesdays, 9.30am to 12pm
A friendly group for women from different countries and backgrounds. Share stories. Learn from each other. Make new friends. We understand what it’s like to be new to Australia or to feel different.

Fridays, 10am to 12pm
A social group for people over 50 years old. Connect with others. Chat. Learn new things. Laugh together.

First time visiting?
First Tuesday of the Month 1pm is the easiest time to visit. That’s when Chatty Cafe happens. Just walk in. Someone will welcome you. Get a cup of tea. Sit down. That’s it.
You can ask questions about other groups. You can look around. You can stay for 5 minutes or 2 hours. You choose.

What if I'm shy?
Many of our people are shy at first. You can just sit and listen. You don’t have to talk much.
What if I don't speak English well?
Many people in our groups speak different languages. We help each other understand. You are welcome.
What if I don't know anyone?
Nobody knows anyone on their first day. We introduce you. We help you feel comfortable.
Do I need to book?
Book Group needs booking because spaces are limited. Everything else – just come. No booking needed.
What if I can't afford it?
Talk to us. We can help. Cost should never stop you from coming.
