Fitness For The Over 50s
Wednesdays, 9.30am to 10.30am
Low-impact exercises to build strength and help you move better. Gentle movements that suit older bodies. Improve balance. Feel stronger. Reduce pain.
Good for people with arthritis, joint pain or limited mobility.
Cost: $4.50 per class
Tai Chi And Tan Tui
Wednesdays, 11am to 12.30pm
Slow, flowing movements from traditional Chinese martial arts. Improve balance and flexibility. Reduce stress. Calm your mind while you move your body.

First Time Visiting?
Choose a class that interests you. Look at the day and time above.
Wear comfortable clothes. Bring water to drink. Bring a towel if you sweat.
Arrive 10 minutes early. This gives you time to meet the instructor and ask questions.
Tell the instructor it’s your first time. They’ll show you what to do. They’ll help you modify movements if needed.
Listen to your body. Stop if something hurts. Rest when you need to. This is normal and okay.
Why Movement Matters
Your body needs movement to stay healthy. Your mind needs movement to reduce stress. Movement helps you sleep better. It gives you energy. It makes daily tasks easier.
But movement should never hurt you or make you feel bad about yourself. Our classes respect your body. Our instructors adjust activities to suit you.

What if I'm not flexible?
You don’t need to be flexible to start. Classes like yoga and tai chi will help you become more flexible over time.
What if I have pain or injuries?
Tell your instructor before class. They can show you modifications. Low-impact classes like Fitness for Over 50s are designed for people with pain.
What if I'm overweight?
All body sizes are welcome. Our instructors work with bodies of all shapes and sizes.
What if I can't afford regular classes?
Talk to us. We want cost to never stop you from moving your body.

What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you can move in. Normal sports shoes or bare feet depending on the class. Ask us if you’re not sure.
Can I try one class first?
Yes. Try any class once to see if you like it.
